When I Look at You - Episode 7

Hey guys, how are you? Well, if 10 people follow me on Twitter by tomorrow at noon I'll do a marathon. =) I really want more followers and I want to do a marathon, so please help me! I also like to thank everyone who read my stories and all those who subscribe. It really means a lot to me. Thanks guys, you are the best! XO twitter.com Maria Laura The crashing of the waves and the warm sun on my back relaxed me. I did this everyday. Everyday for the past month. Everyday for as long as I can. I sit on the beach and I let the edge of the world wash my pain away. It's been a month and I still feel lost. After my father passed away my grandmother immediately got custody of me. Only reason being Im still 17. As much as I pleaded and fought there was no way of getting out of it. He lived in California and I had to also. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate everything she have done for me but this isn't my home. I was moved thousands and thousands of miles away from everything I've ever known. I missed the city. The lights. The buildings. Even the cold believe it or not. But I tried to make it easy on them too. I stayed out of their way as much as I could. I went to school, did my homework and then came here until it was almost dark. What else do I have to do? I didn't have my dad. We did everything together. Im so alone. So lost. After the funeral the Jonas' offered their help. Mr. Jonas said if I needed anything to just give him a call. Yeah, that wasnt going to happen anytime soon ...

Oh My Guard; Episode 12 [Foolish]

OMG; Episode 12 [Foolish] "Is everything okay back there?" Carl asked, his eyes appearing the rearview mirror as he tried to get a good look at Ella and Drake. "Yeah," Drake said, his voice hoarse. "Just too lazy to get back up." Ella giggled and glanced up to the driver's seat, but Drake took her face in his hands and pulled her toward him. She toppled over and landed on top of him, straddling his waist. Her body guard, with his hands squeezing her face, kissed her lips. They both seperated their mouths the slightest bit, breathing into each other's mouth. Their eyes stayed closed lightly, as Drake's arms snaked around her thin waist. He pulled her body abruptly to his, earning a gasp from Ella. Then, he kissed her again, longer and more romantic than the first. His hand stayed under her chin, lifting it up so their lips came apart. Ella stared down at him, confused. "What?" she asked, her voice a slight whisper. "That will be the last time," he said, his voice begging not to escape, "I will ever kiss you." She furrowed her brows and pushed herself off of him, tucking her hair behind her ear. "I don't understand." "You don't have to," he told her, his face twisted with agony. "It's better for the both of us." She stared at him in disbelief. "You and I both," she said, "know that's a lie." He pursed his lips. "Not everything has to be the truth." "My mom got to you, didn't she?" "She told me about your last body guard," Drake whispered. "I don't want you to be heartbroken ...

"Don Det" Kiki1975's photos around Dondet, Lao Peoples Dem Rep (sophamit falls)

Preview of Kiki1975'sblog at TravelPod. Read the full blog here: www.travelpod.com This blog preview was made by TravelPod using the TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow creator. Entry from: Dondet, Lao Peoples Dem Rep Entry Title: "Don Det" Entry: "I bought a ticket from Pakse to Ban Nakasang for 55000 kip on a VIP bus. Ban Nakasang is the jumping off point for Don Det and Don Khon. They are two of the islands and I was heading to Don Det. The bus was really nice with plush chairs that could be reclined almost all the way to vertical. Once the bus dropped me off at Ban Nakasang, I had to walk a couple of minutes to the boat terminal to get transferred to Don Det. It cost 15000 kip. Before getting on the boat I bought a new pair of sunglasses for 25000. It was really cheap so I didn't even haggle. The Mekong fans out here, creating tons of islands. These islands are called Si Phan Don or 4000 Islands. Don Det is one of the bigger islands and it has a large backpacker scene. The main island is Don Khong, but from what I heard it's too touristy. So I chose Don Det. After arriving on Don Det, the search for accommodation began. There's tons to choose from, all along the water, as far as I walked, there're bungalows after bungalows, guesthouses after guesthouses. Many are asking for 30000 kip, but they only have shared bathrooms outside. There are some for 20000 as well. I finally ended up choosing Mr. Nois' Guesthouse for 40000. It wasn't directly on the water, but on the other ...
